As one of North America’s leading owners, operators and advisors of student housing, Scion defines the future of student living. The relocation and renovation of their new office overlooking the Chicago River at 400 Michigan Ave required a unique perspective to create a redesigned “in-person” office that would excite and delight employees. PBD helped this real estate company relocate from a 4-floor location to 2 floors with an interconnected stair between the 2. With over 200 workstations and 24 private office, this stair would be the central design element to support an active and collaborative workplace.
