When redesigning their headquarters in Chicago, Hubbard Radio wanted to unite all three Chicago radio stations under one roof. Partners by Design worked with Hubbard Radio to incorporate and redesign the new studio and office with the goal on reflecting the company’s culture. Overlooking Millennium Park and Lake Michigan, this 20,000 SF space was design to capture its laid back and edgy atmosphere. A communal space was created in their main area, allowing for a great hangout spot where interviews and unplugged session can be held. Acoustical foam was used throughout the phone rooms, as well as wiring was utilized on the reception desk to recreate an old speaker. Sit-to-stand workstations were added in the open area creating an environment suited for the development of a healthy space.
