HAVI, a global privately owned company, seamlessly connects individuals with ideas, data with insights, and supply with demand, while also facilitating the interaction between restaurants and deliveries and people with the products they adore. HAVI’s extensive supply chain and sourcing capabilities find a complementary counterpart in The Marketing Store, a global customer engagement agency that excels in delivering custom, next-generation brand experiences and products designed to captivate, engage, and inspire action among customers.
In a collaborative effort, HAVI and The Marketing Store enlisted the expertise of Partners by Design to orchestrate the merger and consolidation of two distinct locations and corporate identities. This transformation culminated in the establishment of a singular flagship headquarters situated in Fulton Market, that consolidated a suburban office spanning approximately 140,000 RSF and a downtown office covering around 35,000 RSF into a cohesive 100,000 RSF space.
The project necessitated an extensive coordination effort for workplace strategy, involving a comprehensive survey of the entire organization. The approach adopted was fully master-planned, and in-depth analysis of current and future office space utilization, with a focus on envisioning the Workplace of the Future. In the post-pandemic landscape, the HAVI project stood out as a significant endeavor for Partners by Design. The envisioned workplace of the future for HAVI/TMS embraced a 1:2 seat-to-headcount ratio. This design philosophy leveraged third-space seating, including lounges and tucked-away work points, facilitating an influx of workers to make optimal use of the office space.
PBD’s meticulous planning also included the incorporation of closed spaces tailored for quiet heads-down work, in-person huddles, and technology-forward remote meetings. The result was an environment offering a multitude of work-type choices, all conveniently located steps away from every workstation.
