Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Emily moved to Chicago for graduate school and to advance her career, developing a strong appreciation for the contrasting landscapes she has encountered. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Design in Architectural Studies from Arizona State University and a Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois at Chicago. With experience in corporate interiors at BE Architects, she also contributed to a public art initiative in Chicago called Invest South/West while working at Port Urbanism.
