PBD Aeron Hockey fundraiser is here!

It’s Game Time! Team PBD is gearing up for the annual AeronHockey Tournament – an epic chair hockey showdown bringing together 40 teams from the A+D and CRE communities!

Originally hosted by Interior Investments and now by Continua Interiors, this event has raised nearly $1 million for Special Olympics Illinois, supporting life-changing opportunities for adults and children with intellectual disabilities. Every dollar goes toward empowering athletes, coaches, and volunteers, including funding the State Floor Hockey Tournament held each November in Chicago.

With classic white subway tiles, a bold black-and-white awning, a glowing ‘pin’ sign, and an ‘order board’ featuring Pinterest-centric content, it’s where iconic Chicago design meets the creative energy of Pinterest’s workplace.

More than just a place to grab a slice, this space doubles as a dynamic content creator hub, offering the perfect backdrop for capturing mouthwatering moments. We introduced dynamic privacy glass that can switch to transparent at the touch of a button, offering an innovative solution that preserves the stunning view from reception while ensuring confidentiality when needed.

This confidential client engaged Partners by Desig

This confidential client engaged Partners by Design to create an optimal trading environment reflecting multiple business strategies and innovations. PBD designed this 11,000 square-foot space to foster productivity, promote focus and facilitate collaboration amongst traders and their respective support teams.

Trading desks were strategically located to ensure optimum viewing of the robust audio visual system integral to expeditious trader decision making and maximizing city views.

@ceritypartners is a rapidly growing wealth management firm with a robust presence across the U.S. Previously working in a space that didn’t align with their evolving needs, they recognized the importance of cultivating an environment that mirrored their dedication to clients and supported their expanding team. With this vision in mind, they set out to create a welcoming and refined space that seamlessly blends sophistication with practicality. Their new office, designed by PBD, reflects their commitment to excellence, offering both staff and clients an inspiring, comfortable environment that encourages collaboration, builds trust, and enhances the client experience.

The reception area features a state-of-the-art conference center with a variety of client-facing meeting spaces. The largest boardroom offers a distinctive touch with electric frosting glass for added privacy. A client lounge located in the corner of the office provides breathtaking views of the lake and city, serving as a versatile space for hosting clients. The work cafe, tucked into another corner of the office, offers a cozy retreat for team members to unwind or enjoy a coffee away from their desks.

🌟 This #GivingTuesday, join us in supporting the Greater Chicago Food Depository’s mission to end hunger in our community. Since 1979, they’ve been fighting hunger with a network of 800 local pantries, shelters, and programs.

Thanks to generous donors, PBD and our partners were able to help GCFD complete the Nourish Project—completed in 2024—and expand the Food Depository’s capacity to provide over 30,000 nutritious meals daily, including culturally appropriate meals for asylum seekers and medically tailored meals for those in need. The new facility also supports local economies by partnering with minority-owned restaurants and generating jobs in underserved communities.
